About the Author:
Pablo Lacalle Castillo is the youngest brother of triplets (by five minutes) born in Madrid, Spain, and raised in England. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with First Class Honours and earned a Master’s with Distinction with the 2024/2025 Creative Writing MSc Cohort at his alma mater. He has written for Graveside Press, an indie-horror publication, and had work published in Yale-affiliated journal, The Foundationalist.
Pablo loves immersing himself in eclectic fiction, influenced in equal parts by his mother’s love of classical art, live performance and music, and his father’s knowledge of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. When not writing, Pablo labours to fulfil a self-imposed quota of novels, films, manga, and heavy-metal albums.
